PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) – The Dormont Stakes is the third and final leg of the inaugural CBS Radio triple crown.

It’s the longest distance of the triple crown races, going entirely around Foster Plaza Building 5.

While there was no chance for a triple crown winner this year, there was still a great deal of pride on the line.

Green Tree Derby winner, Teen Wolf, was a scratch, but Chris Peakness winner, General Tso, looked finish the triple crown a two-of-three winner.

Newcomer Monty, of y108′s Jimmy and Monty, made his first appearance in the series and was impressive.

Jeff Hathhorn, in for Jim Colony, put the 6:40 update in jeopardy by competing in this longer distance race.

Also, to be noted, Gregg Giannotti was dressed as a chicken.

Bubba was there again to call the action, this time from a moving press box in the back of Catfish’s Jeep.  Watch the action-packed video below.
