PITTSBURGH (93-7 The Fan) — Pirates color commentator and former pitcher Bob Walk joined The Fan Morning Show today for another edition of his weekly segment, “Walk on Wednesday.”
The Pirates shut out the Phillies on Tuesday night, pulling out a 2-0 victory after starter Jeff Locke pitched six innings of two-hit ball, Brandon Inge doubled in a run in the fourth, and Gaby Sanchez launched a solo shot in the eighth for good measure.
Walk broke down Locke’s effective outing, and broke down the possibility that last night’s bullpen success is a sign of how the bullpen will end up performing over the course of the season
“Walk on Wednesday” can be heard every Wednesday on The Fan Morning Show at 8:40 a.m.
